Twentieth Anniversary Celebrations

2019 has been a milestone year for IVS, celebrating our 20th Anniversary. We marked the occasion by hosting our Annual Update Meeting (AUM) at Carden Park Hotel near Chester, a stunning venue. After an informative and extremely interesting morning of talks and presentations staff had the choice of several activities to choose from before a delicious three course dinner in the evening, followed by Lee's famous 'pub quiz'!

CQC Assessment 2019

The summer of 2019 brought us one of our biggest challenges to date - full assessment of our company by the Care Quality Commision as an external provider of services to NHS hospitals. Everyone worked extremely hard to ensure everything was correctly in place and we were delighted to be awarded 'Good' status across the board at all our permanent sites, with the inspectors being very happy with our services and our staff. We will be aiming for 'Outstanding' in our re-assessment in 3 years time!

New Service at Whiston Hospital, Prescot.

In July IVS started a new service providing vascular ultrasound diagnostic imaging at Whiston Hospital in Prescot, this has been very well received and the hospital is benefitting from same day imaging and reporting with short waiting times.

Looking after our staff - access to the BUPA Employee Assistance Programme

From October 2019 IVS has teamed up with the BUPA Employee Assistance Programme to provide a free confidential mental health and well being support service to all staff. This offers both emotional and practical support for the challenges life throws our way.
